Recently I’ve made the same stupid mistake at least 3 times. That mistake? Deleting an entire folder of stuff instead of just one file. Twice it’s been the entire photo contents of my camera. I realise I do already have the photos on my laptop but I like to keep a back up copy just in case.
Moving on from my stupidity and inability to learn from previous mistakes. Yesterday I went shopping and managed to finally take a photo for a pair of shoes I wear all the time, for the Shoeper Challenge. These were actually the shoes I had lost a while ago.
It’s a really rubbish quality photo, but my camera wasn’t playing nicely. I was also completely shattered by the time I got round to taking this. So shoes: purple flats from New Look, dress: New Look, belt: New Look, leggings: H&M – just to mix it up. It was completely unintentional and I actually hate it when I realise everything I’m wearing is from the same place.

I didn’t buy anything except foundation while I was out, unfortunately. But there was question of the best method when it comes to choosing foundation; is it better the devil you know? Or should you try a new foundation just in case its better? I tend to change my foundation a lot, I’m never completely happy with it, but this last sort I have had (Bourjois Healthy Mix) I’ve really gotten on with, I’ve needed to use a lot less than with other foundations and the colour has actually pretty much matched my skin (it could maybe be a touch darker, but I usually get it too dark.) My skin isn’t actually that pale so I can see what problems people with really fair skin have as I always choose the lightest shade and it’s often too dark for me.
